ChemicalAnalysis is comprised of a highly skilled team of chemists supported by the most advanced analytical instrumentation – surpassing that of most Universities.
Dr Frank Bambino obtained his PhD in synthetic organic chemistry, NMR and IR spectroscopic techniques from La Trobe University in 1995.
His main area of research was the synthesis of novel sterically hindered amino acid analogues and small peptides. NMR and IR spectroscopic techniques were key analytical tools used to elucidate their three-dimensional structure. High performance liquid chromatography was also routinely used to obtain high purity samples for analysis and in-vitro assays.
Immediately following his PhD, he became a key member of the spectroscopic analytical group at ICI Australia. Dr. Bambino used NMR and IR spectroscopic techniques as powerful tools to analyse complex mixtures and formulations for the industrial and bioactive industries.
