HPLC - ELSD Expansion

April 2015

Due to the very successful introduction of two Grace 3300 ELSD's (Evaporative Light Scattering Detectors) in 2012, Chemical Analysis has further expanded the ELSD capability to include the first of three Agilent 1260 Infinity ELSDs, offering a superior performance in LOD, linearity and reproducibility.

The 1260 Infinity ELSD is a high capability instrument ideal for detecting analytes with no UV chromophore, as it does not rely on optical absorption. It is designed for non-volatile or semi-volatile samples. As a result of 20 years of experience in the design and manufacture of evaporative light scattering detectors, the 1260 Infinity ELSD is an industry-leading alternative to RID, and a replacement for UVD for analytes with no UV chromophore.

Chemical Analysis will be adding to this capability with an additional two more ELSD's by end of 2015.
